?We are excited to announce our new Platinum PVD plated titanium body jewelry. The platinum coating provides an extremely bright and shiny finish that exudes the same luxurious look and feel as solid platinum jewelry.
?Pure platinum is a heavy precious metal that is extremely inert and excellent for wear in body piercings. However, body jewelry in this material is very expensive due to the high cost of the material and difficulty in manufacturing. Therefore, we have incorporated Platinum as a coating using the physical vapor deposition technique over implant grade titanium (TI-6AL-4V ELI) which is ASTM F-136 compliant. This provides the advantages of platinum (beautiful bright white finish) in a safe to wear and more affordable product.
?The Lot # & "JPN" will appear on our label of the bag of jewelry which indicates that it is sourced and milled from titanium directly made in Japan, a DFARS compliant country for titanium.
?We have corresponding mill certificates which can be located on our website once logged in. The certificate includes the heat # & lot # for traceability.
